A Room Integrity Test or Door Fan Test has multiple functions in the mission critical facility and data center industry.   As a member of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), we adhere to all NFPA 2001 regulations when testing facilities that use fire suppression agents (e.g. Novec1230, FM200, INERGEN). Room Integrity Testing can also play a large role in ensuring your CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioner) system is operating to its maximum efficiency.

Room Integrity testing is a process that ultimately locates and quantifies air leakage within your facility.  By achieving the total air leakage, we can calculate Novec1230, FM200, INERGEN or any other clean agent’s ability to suppress a fire, and/or estimate loss of cooling.  After locating and neutralizing these problematic areas, we can achieve higher efficiency from the CRAC units while ensuring the facility is protected in the event of a fire.

FM Engineering prides itself on being the ONLY independent company in Canada that employs Retrotec level 3 and level 4 certified technicians.  Working with all major fire protection companies across Canada, our experience in the industry is unmatched.
