FM Engineering is primarily a data center consulting company with design and construction capabilities to implement the findings from its Surveys and Data Center Audits. Our staff includes a group of very talented Licensed Professional Engineers who bring to the client an owner/operator perspective backed by many years of data center design and construction experience at large Fortune 500 operating companies.

B. (Sam) Aboumrad P. Eng., Founder of FM Engineering, has over 24 years experience in designing and building data centers, computer rooms, call centers and other Mission Critical facilities worldwide. Mr. Aboumrad’s extensive practical and design knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Systems, Uninterruptible Transfer systems, Power quality projects and Fire protection technology.

Matthew Rabba, Partner at FM Engineering, an accomplished Project Manager with over 10 years experience in data centre and critical facility build out and coordination. An expert in computer support equipment redundancies and a leader in data center energy efficient and building envelope systems.

Richard Diosi, a top notch project manager, with over 20 years experience in the Data Centre assessment and project management industry. His extensive knowledge base of hardware, DC infrastructure required protection and redundancy systems are invaluable when selecting, designing and/or relocating any Data Centre facility. Mr. Diosi worked at IBM Canada in the Site Management Services division.
